Being visible at the moment someone searches

We run search ads on Google and Bing for people with a concrete need. And we make sure the budget does not go into clicks that never lead to an enquiry.

What this is about

Search ads are the most direct route to people who already know what they need. The price for that is that every mistake costs money straight away: every click is paid for, whether it fits or not.

The right search queries

What matters is less which terms you book than which ones you exclude. The largest share of wasted budget sits in queries that only happen to sound similar.

Ad and landing page belong together

Anyone who clicks on a particular promise has to find it again on the page. If the two do not match, visitors leave and the click was for nothing.

Alongside SEO, not instead of SEO

Ads work immediately, but only as long as you keep paying. Organic visibility takes longer and stays. Usually both make sense, with a clear division of labour.

Every click costs. Not every one is worth something.

Situations that typically bring clients to us

  • The account has been running for years without anyone reviewing it properly.

  • Click prices are rising, the number of enquiries stays the same.

  • Ads appear for search queries that have nothing to do with the offer.

  • Google suggests automation, but nobody can judge the recommendation.

  • It is unclear which campaign actually brought the enquiries.

  • Competitors bid more on the most important terms than makes economic sense.

  • None of this sounds like you?

What we actually do

Account and campaign structure

A clear structure by service and region, so budget and analysis stay manageable at all.

Search terms and exclusions

We continuously maintain what ads should appear for and what they should not. Exclusions often save more than any bid adjustment.

Ad copy and extensions

Copy that names the offer concretely instead of begging for attention with platitudes.

Shopping and product ads

For shops we set up the product feed so that ads run automatically with correct prices and stock levels.

Landing pages for campaigns

Dedicated landing pages that deliver exactly the promise that was clicked on. Built by the same team that builds the website.

Ongoing management

Keeping an eye on bids, budgets and automation and stepping in where the systems learn in the wrong direction.

How we work

  • 01

    Review the account

Look at existing campaigns, search terms and costs. For a fresh start we clarify the goal, the region and the budget range.

  • 02

    Make sure the measurement works

Enquiries and purchases have to be measured reliably, otherwise the system optimises against the wrong signals.

  • 03

    Build and test

Start with a clear focus, test ad copy and landing pages against each other.

  • 04

    Concentrate

Focus the budget on what brings enquiries and switch off the rest consistently.

Usually the biggest lever is not the bid but what gets excluded. Give us access to your account and we will tell you where the budget goes.

Frequently asked questions

Every click costs, not every one is worth something. That is why structure, copy and measurement belong together rather than one after the other.

Does dxm manage Google Ads on an ongoing basis?

Yes. That includes the account structure by service and region, ad copy, bids and budgets, shopping feeds for shops and the measurement. Most of the ongoing work, though, goes into the search terms: we continuously maintain what ads should appear for and what they should not. Exclusions often save more budget than any bid adjustment, because the biggest loss sits in queries that only happen to sound similar.

Can you take over an existing account?

Yes. We start with a review of structure, search terms, ad copy, bidding strategies and measurement and show where money is being spent without effect. After that we decide together whether to rebuild the account or start again – historical data often argues for a rebuild. We also assess Google's recommendations for more automation instead of adopting them unchecked.

Are landing pages part of it?

Yes, where they are needed, and that is often the case. Anyone who clicks on a particular promise has to find it again on the landing page; otherwise you are paying for bounces. Because website and campaigns come from the same team here, landing pages to match are created without a detour via another provider. If an existing page is good enough, we say that too.

Which goals make sense with Google Ads?

Whatever is connected to the business: qualified enquiries, booked appointments, purchases or quote requests – valued with a realistic figure per sale. From that follows what a click may cost. Pure reach or a high click-through rate are not goals, because both are easy to produce. If no value has been set, we work it out together with your sales team before the launch.
