Spending budget is easy. Proving the effect is not.

We manage paid marketing across all channels: which budget goes where, what it is meant to deliver and how we can tell that it is working.

What this is about

Performance marketing is not a single channel but the decision about which channel gets which budget and how success is measured. Only after that does the question arise whether an ad runs on Google or on Instagram.

Goals before channels

An enquiry in mechanical engineering is not the same as a basket in a shop. We first define what a sale is worth and derive from that what a click may cost.

One picture instead of many dashboards

Every channel credits itself with the success. We bring the figures together so it becomes visible which touchpoint really contributed to the sale.

Budget where it works

We shift funds between channels instead of spending the same amount every month. What does not deliver is stopped, not talked up.

Reach is not a goal. It is only the way there.

What we actually do

Defining goals and metrics

What is an enquiry worth, what is a sale worth? Without that figure no budget can be managed sensibly.

Channel strategy and budget allocation

Together we decide which share goes into search, social and outreach to existing customers, and back it up with figures.

Setting up and running campaigns

Setup, ongoing management and optimisation of campaigns in Google Ads and on the social platforms.

Measurement and attribution

Clean tracking across channels, set up in line with data protection rules, so the figures hold up to scrutiny.

Landing pages that match the ad

Even the most expensive click is useless if the landing page makes a different promise than the ad. We build both together.

Reporting with a decision

Short analyses that make clear what we will change next and why. Not a dashboard nobody opens.

How we work

  • 01

    Clarify the starting point

Look at previous campaigns, costs and sales and name what can reliably be measured today and what cannot.

  • 02

    Set up the measurement

Set up tracking and goals before any budget flows. Otherwise you end up optimising against chance.

  • 03

    Launch and steer

Start with a clear test budget, compare channels and move funds to where they work.

  • 04

    Scale up

What works gets more budget. What does not work is ended rather than optimised further.

First define what a sale is worth, then allocate the budget. Tell us your goal and your current budget and we will tell you what we would change first.

Frequently asked questions

Reach is the way, not the goal. For us performance means treating channel, measurement and landing page as one system.

What does performance marketing at dxm cover?

Managing paid marketing as a whole: defining goals and values, allocating budget across channels, setting up and running campaigns, building landing pages to match and measuring the results across channels. Performance marketing is therefore not a single channel but the decision about which channel gets which budget and how success is measured. Only after that does the question arise whether an ad runs on Google or on Instagram.

Which channels do you manage?

Usually search and shopping ads on Google, social ads on Meta, LinkedIn or Pinterest and outreach to existing customers, along with the matching measurement. The mix follows the business model: if your offer is something people already look for, you normally start in search; if demand has to be created first, you start with social. We shift budget between channels instead of spending the same amount every month. What does not deliver is stopped.

What happens if our data is unreliable?

Then we repair the measurement first. Optimising against wrong figures makes the damage worse, because budget flows systematically in the wrong direction. Typical cases are sales counted twice, missing consent solutions or channels crediting each other with the same purchases. We set the tracking up again in line with data protection rules and bring the figures together into one picture.

Is there a minimum budget?

We do not name a fixed threshold, because it depends heavily on the market: in cheap niches small amounts are enough, while with high click prices the same sum is used up within a few days. What matters is whether enough sales come together to recognise anything at all. After a look at your offer, the competition and the click prices we will tell you whether it is worth starting or whether the money is better spent elsewhere.
