The challenge

ERGO Versicherung needed a way to explain the benefits of income protection insurance to its customers in a visually appealing and easily understandable form. The task was to build an interactive web app that helps users understand their own financial situation through a dynamic visualisation. The central idea was an animated set of scales weighing sources of income against expenses. If an imbalance occurs, income protection insurance steps in to even things out. The challenge was to implement this complex topic in a technically precise and user-friendly way at the same time.

The solution

Our team handled the technical implementation of the web app with Nuxt and built a lean, fast solution. The animated scales sit at the centre of the application and let users grasp their individual income and expense situation intuitively.
